Will my shower liner smell right out of the package? What is that smell, and how do I get rid of it?

Our shower curtain liners are made of PE, PEVA, polyester or microfiber, which are odorless. When shower curtain liners smell, they are often made of PVC. SlipX Solutions® does not make any PVC shower liners. Any shower liner may develop a smell if it’s not cleaned regularly. Should your shower liner develop an odor, we recommend hand washing it in cool water then letting it air dry. Close question.

What are magnetic weights? Why do they matter?

What are magnetic weights? Why do they matter?

Magnetic weights help hold your shower liner in place flush against your tub. Their weight helps prevent the shower liner from billowing towards you in the shower and most important, they help keep water inside the shower! Unless you have a cast iron tub, magnetic weights won’t “stick,” but their weight is what’s important and most functional. Even if you don’t have a traditional cast iron tub, our magnetic weights still do a great job of holding your liner in place by pressing liner material against your wet tub surface where the water forms a temporary bond.
