How to Keep a Shower Curtain Liner Clean: Washing & Care Guide

Cleaning a fabric or PE/PEVA shower liner is easy—simply follow a few guidelines:

  1. Pull your shower liner closed after showering and give it a chance to air dry. Be sure to ventilate the space to promote quick drying!
  2. From time to time, wipe the shower liner down with a damp cloth. If you have one of our soft fabric liners, we recommend hand washing with gentle soap in cool water occasionally. After cleaning, hang and air dry.
  3. Our shower curtain liners feature Microban® antimicrobial product protection. Microban makes the shower liner easier to clean and keeps it cleaner between cleanings by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew that can cause stains and odors. We do not recommend washing any SlipX Solutions® liners in the washing machine, as this can damage the liner material and potentially impact our powerful Microban additive.
  4. Never attempt to dry your SlipX Solutions liner in a hot dryer. Always air dry.
